Tertec has developed many other products of its own over the years. These include assistive devices, specialized databases, and dynamic content management systems, to name but a few. A number of them are highlighted here through links and pictures.

Mon Ami™, a patent pending, electronic companion, is a good example of a system that can function as a 21st century Smart Home Manager. It can also function as an assistive device that can help people with special needs along with their Caregivers. It can support and enhance the quality of life of the Caregivers, the people in their care and link them with family and friends. PowerBaseTx is a taxonomic database based on the work of Swedish naturalist, Carolus von Linnaeus (1707-1778). It allows the user to hone in on the information they are searching for in just a few clicks of the mouse. Visit http://www.cdho.org/Knowledge+Network.asp for a dynamic view of an implementation that is being used by the members of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, and visitors from all around the world. Tertec works with Dr. Gordon Atherley, who is a prominent, retired physician to develop and maintain this Knowledge Network.

A striking example of a dynamic content management system that Tertec has designed and implemented for the main Cathedral of Toronto can be viewed at www.stmichaelscathedral.com. This involves multimedia and other data that must be regularly updated by the staff of St. Michael's.
