Co-operative Education

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Tertec is involved in Co-op programs with local universities, like the University of Guelph, Waterloo, Queens University, Seneca College of Arts and Technology, and several of our local high schools. In addition, international students from Germany, Korea, China, India and France have performed their Co-op at Tertec.

Over the years Tertec has had more than 100 students involved in various projects and learning situations as part of of their education. At the high school level, they work alongside our technicians, learning the basis of soldering, making cables and various other hardware related tasks.

For students wishing to enter the field of computer science, depending on their level of skill, they may work on indpendant projects under the guidance of our software staff, or assist with ongoing projects.
